Trip to Anderson

Nevi's second trip in an airplane. Note to self: Do not book flights around bedtime in the future. It wasn't terrible but we were all exhausted when we finally arrived to Anderson at 1:45 in the MORNING! Nevi really quite a trooper. After some much needed rest the next day, we were able to settle in and have a blast with Nana and PopPop and the rest of the crew. 5 days of relaxing with family and friends. This was Robb's 20 year high school reunion weekend so there many festivities for us to partake in, allowing Robb to catch up with old friends and giving us a chance to share Nevi with some pretty important folks. I had my first eye doctor appointment ever and it was with Uncle Jim...still perfect vision, pphheeww. And Robb got the chance to run with some old track buddies. Quite the weekend.

4 1/2 months old...

Grandma Pat paid us a visit just last weekend! Six days of grandma fun! We went to the Louisville Street Fair to see Robb 'do his thing' and then to Chautauqua for the annual BarberShop festival, which Grandma Pat has made for the last 4 consecutive years, maybe 5. Nevi's first - She always seems to enjoy music and although she fell asleep at the end (waayyyy last her bedtime), her eyes lit up many times in response to the beautiful harmonies that filled Chautauqua Auditorium. Nevi and I also ate at the Cheesecake Factory for the first time this past weekend...YUM! Her eyes are getting bigger and bluer (crystal blue like GrammaMom) everyday and she is quite a happy little baby. No teeth yet but she is close to rolling over; I give her another couple of weeks before she's rolling all over the living floor. She loves the water and has her first swim suit to wear to Nana & Pop Pop's Anderson Ocean this coming weekend. She stands more than she sits and is still experimenting with her little voice. No 'Mama' or 'Dada' yet...but we're working on it. Oh yeah, and we're wearing mostly 3-6 month clothing but she fits 6 month clothing already! She's got a LONG torso. Still only nursing...no solid food yet....

Nevi's 4 month B-Day!

Neviah was born 4 months ago today! Yeah! The Seals had a wild weekend for the 4th. Robb officiated a wedding for some friends who married on the 4th of July so that meant 2 nights in a row of fun activity. rehearsal dinner and wedding. The wedding took place up in the mountains at the Eldora Ski Resort Lodge. Robb, of course, did a fabulous job and received compliment after compliment for a job well done. Nevi also did very well, we partied until 9pm (hard to believe but that's LATE for us these days!) then made the drive down into town, watching the fireworks from our Subaru while Nev slept soundly in the back. She was very well behaved and very cute in her fancy dress.
Nevi has recently found her voice and has no hesitation screeching like a Pterodactyl, which is absolutely hilarious until it interferes with speeches at a wedding. Then we need to remove ourselves promptly.
