Quite different weather from Nana and PopPop's visit, it was sunny and 70s while Grandma Pat was here. We spent most of our visit outside, enjoying the glorious fall weather. We visited a small, local pumpkin patch and made our way to Rocky Mountain National Park to hear the elks bugle (AMAZING!). There were herds everywhere! The three girls hiked 'Fern Trail' for an hour and a half and ended up singing camp songs on the last leg of the hike, out of sheer exhaustion and bliss. We also strolled Pearl Street one evening, drinking hot tea and window shopping. That night, there was a CU pep rally going on so Nevi got to hear her first marching band drum corp. Very cool.
